How good is the writing, how much info is contained? Is it worth reading?.

There is a big archive of articles, and they do cover a good range of aspects of the game, for various levels of player. However, as far as current information goes, you will struggle to find anything relevant, and the whole site has a neglected feel to it.

The range of content is pretty good, with articles on odds, strategies, cheating, Poker rooms and much more. However, when you actually sit down to read one of these posts, you will find a lot of hot air, talking without having much to say, with very little worth gleaning from them.

When this poker blog online started, it had fairly decent traffic, but because it is out of touch with the industry's goings-on, it can't have many visitors at all. Maybe poker historians.

Seemingly, this blog started and ended in the same month...over a year and a half ago. With articles dating back to 2007, it is a wonder why they are bothering to keep this blog alive.

There are an extraordinary amount of articles on Chief Poker, considering they were all posted around the same time. It is like the creators thought that it would be a good idea to start a blog...then just gave up.
