Individuals setting up their own blogs should be applauded, but if you are going to bother at all, put some effort into it. Steal the Blinds is such a waste of time, with few decent posts, no bio info on the bloggers and lttle reason to visit unless you are one of the bloggers friends and want to see if they are available for lunch next Friday.

How good is the writing, how much info is contained? Is it worth reading?.

Steal the Blinds looks boring, and is boring. No effort has been put into the layout of the site, there seems to be no guidelines as to what posts can be added and by who, and it is pot luck whether you will find something worth reading, or someone's random post, added just for the sake of it.

Posts are from low-level players, and range from wishing everyone a 'Happy New Year' (thank you), to a breakdown of various hands won and lost. Poker coverage is sporadic in quality as well as quantity, and as we have no idea who these poker bloggers are, it is difficult to take what they say seriously.

There have been a measly 146 readers since its inception in 2005, so this really is a blog just for the bloggers, who don't seem to care if anyone apart from themselves are reading it.

Like the quality of the posts, the frequency is equally sporadic. There have not been any posts since Jan 1st 09, but perhaps a more generous guideline would be to say that there is a new post every month. If you are lucky.

Size isn't everything - but it is still important to find a site that has a lot of big information..

Posts themselves range from pointless one-liners, to huge, rambling essays about so-and-so moving house. If you can be bothered, these longer posts can sometimes be useful, by way of learning from others' experiences.

They are a pretty miserable bunch, and there are no contact details, feeds or bookmark options available. No loss really.
