Poker is a booming industry, so why not capitalise on it? The Chicago Live Poker Event misses the plot completely, which is a real shame considering that profits of the event go to charity.

Chicago Live Poker events are organized by Main Event Charity Games, to raise money for non-profit organisations. Whilst we applaud their efforts, this event could be improved enormously (therefore earning more money for charity) if a littleswank was added into the mix. The proceedings are sometimes shown on television, so the event has no excuse for not generating enough interest in online poker events. The first thing they need to address is the venue, with the naf Irish pub hardly being a crowd puller.

Turn up.

Of course we don't expect pros at one of these small event, but part of their charm is allowing the regular player the chance to shine. However, there is no sparkling going on in Chicago unfortunately.
