Grading the event descriptions and coverage on the site..

Rapidly developing into a global tour, the APPT runs over a four month stretch, from September to October. Another poker event sponsored by PokerStars, 1000s of players took part in the last season. The Tournament Director is Danny McDonagh, long-time planner, promoter and director of tournaments in Australia. President of the APPT is the equally experienced Jeffrey Haas.
Qualification:

Qualify for the APPT by playing in PokerStars special tournaments, and earning frequent player points.

This parameter looks at the level of stars and big name poker players..

The star of last season's APPT was insurance worker Martin Rowe, who won $ 1,000,000 in Sydney, breaking the Australian record of highest winnings received by an Aussie in their own country. Another record breaker was Edward Sabat who, at only 22, became the youngest winner of APPT. The student took the main event title and won nearly half a million dollars.
