Johnny Hooker, an ordinary fraudulent gambler, unintentionally cheats Doyle Lonnegan, a don. Lonnegan seeks for revenge. When Hookers collaborator is murdered, he escapes and approaches to Gondroff for help. Hooker tries to use Grondoff's knowledge of gambling to obtain tonnes of cash from Lonnegan in order equalize his loss. The story revolves around the poker game where the stakes are very high. Hooker become desperate to win the game and is ready to do anything for it. Snyder, who is a cop pressurizes Hooker to give up and warns him as well. Finally hooker takes back and put down his treacherous intentions. Like any dramas or play the film is divided into many segments.
Comments The Sting is one the most successful movies of Hollywood. It has won seven Oscar awards and in more than two categories. Music of the film was also very popular.
