Part of the huge WSEX Sportsbook, the World Poker Exchange Poker Network fails to impressive. With software dating back to the Jurassic period, and only one unpopular room on offer, WSEX has a long way to come if it wants to move off our flop list.

The World Poker Network is owned by World Sports Exchange (WSEX), the largest online Sportsbook, which has been running since 1996. After success in the sports market, WSEX decided to open its own poker network and room, which remains open to US players.

WSEX has an established reputation in the gaming industry, with one of the largest online Sportsbooks, but it is yet to make a name for itself in the online poker networks, and it doesn't seem to making much headway towards doing this either.

There are only 600 players currently with WSEX, and traffic is centred on US time. Even though they only have one room, this is not a large enough player base in which to guarantee round-the-clock action.

The sign-up bonus only gives you a mean 30 days to earn your 100% up to $1000, but the tournament promotions are pretty unique, with daily bonus games and a 'winner takes all competition'.

If you are playing on the lower-end tables, then you will benefit from the lower than average rakes, but as if to compensate for this, rakes on the high-staked tables go up to$4.

Get with the program WSEX! The company must have money to invest, but none of this has gone towards providing decent playing software. The tables and lobby are not only graphically boring, but are cumbersome to use and the lack of filters means getting the most out of the room can be problematic.
