After finishing her studies she started playing poker. Annie's brother was the person who took her into world of poker. She stood tenth in the WSOP 2000. It was her first ever achievement as a poker player. She took lessons of poker from her brother, Howard gave her best coaching. It helped her lot to be a professional poker player. Annie eliminated her brother from the tournament once. Just to play more poker Annie moved to Las Vegas with her husband.

Annie spent her childhood days in Hampshire (UK). Her father was a teacher in ST Paul's School. Brother Howard is Pro player in poker. She has a sister too who is a writer and has written many good books and poems. One of the books she wrote on her own family. Annie has completed her studies from the University of Columbia. Her subjects were English and psychology. She met Duke in the university with whom she got married later on. A mother of 4 children is divorced and living her life on her own terms with her mother Los Angeles.
