Pokersite has some great and unique features, llike the reviews that compare poker rooms across specific criteria, but unfortunately it loses out to some of the other portals by its lack of key facilities, most notably, a forum.

Although Pokersite is only available in English or Spanish, there are different sections for US, European, Canadian and UK players, which is useful for finding the room best suited to you. The portal itself is clearly laid out, and includes detailed information on different games, where to play them and how to play them.

In this parameter one of the most important parts of the portal (the poker rooms reviews) have been graded..

What Pokersite does really well is divide their reviews into sections for easy comparison. As well as there being individual poker reviews, with editorial s on various aspects of each room, there are topic-specific reviews, ranking rooms on their bonuses, games, software and more. The reviews themselves are detailed and relatively impartial, making this section one of the strongest on the portal.

This parameter evaluates the live action options and coverage on the portal..

There is disappointingly limited live action on Pokersite, the only information being details of daily tournaments that take place on various sites. There are no links to join the current tournament, which would have made a nice feature. There are, however, links to all the rooms, so once choosing a tournament, you can go to check it out on the site itself.

This parameter grades the quantity and quality of tournament information available on the portal..

Pokersite has a section dedicated to tournaments, both online and live, and the articles give details of the tournament's history, past winners, conditions and how to enter. There are also some bonus links from the portal for joining particular tournaments, along with the times of daily tournaments taking place across the internet.

The availability of bonus codes of big poker operators will increase or decrease the scores in this parameter..

The best way to take advantage of the bonus codes on Pokersite, is to visit the 'Bonus Code' ranking page. Here, rooms are graded on the quality of the bonuses on offer, so there are not only the codes themselves, but an evaluation of how good the bonuses really are. It is this evaluation that saves Pokersite, as the bonus codes themselves are no more valuable than if you went directly to the room sites.

This parameter evaluates the amount and level of blogs on the portal. Is this facility being used, if so, how well is it being implemented?.

Surprisingly for a portal that covers so many aspects of poker, there are no blogs, only articles.

This is really disappointing; no blogs you might get away with, but to have no forum really is not acceptable for a poker portal. Portals are a great way to meet other players and exchange ideas, but you won't be doing that on Pokersite.

How reliable is this poker portal? With this parameter you can measure the quality and information on the portal..

Pokersite's reviews are stats geared, which makes them much more impartial. The various compare facilities further this, because it allows you to get a broad perspective across the industry, and shows that Pokersite have gone and done their homework. It is also a relief to see that not every site is given full marks across the board.

An evaluation of the quality of the news stories on the portal. Is it headline heaven or hell?.

On the positive side, the news section is divided clearly into stories relating to the online and live worlds of poker. Most unusual, but very welcome, are the bios of the writers, allowing us to see how qualified the authors of the articles really are. However, on the flip side, there are not many stories, they are not updated regularly and there is no easy way to access an article archive.

Not only are there feedback forms to comment on articles on the online poker index, but there is also the personal email of Pokersite's creator. There is no live support, however, nor technical assistance.
