I don't care how small you are. If you want to compete in online poker, you must offer reasonable promotions, good graphics and enough players to play against, in a range of games. True Poker fails to deliver on all these counts.

True Poker Software

Though you can choose from two versions of software to play with, we wouldn't bother with either.

True Poker has been started by poker enthusiasts, but unfortunately it doesn't do their beloved game much justice. The site poker room is only available in English and Spanish, the layout is uninspiring, and for such limited content, incredibly confusing.

They are not promoted at all on the site, but with some digging, you will find the most popular games of Texas Hold'em and Omaha (High and Low, no less). Limits are capped at a pitiful $30, so you will struggle to hit the jackpot here.

There is no incentive to play here, even for the beginner. Yes, you can find soft tables, but all the other features that come with the sites geared towards inexperienced players (like strategies) are missing. It's not a matter of how soft the competition is, the question is whether you will find any competition at all.

True Poker market their choice of download options as an advantage, but frankly this is a ploy. The ability to download a smaller flie size, with only 2D graphics is not representative of the market's needs, and they would be far better off focusing solely on the 3D version, which is still lacking in graphic quality and facilities like stats generators.

Here, we evaluate the reliability, speed and quality of the support system present in the room..

At least the service on True Poker is up to standard, as you would expect from such a small site in terms of traffic. Email support replied within 30 minutes on average, and a cool feature is the live host at every table and in the lobby, there to resolve playing queries quickly.
